2016 ATAA Annual Symposium Features Keynote Speaker Attorney Morelli

The Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys (ATAA) had its annual inaugural conference in Nashville Tennessee from September 28^th to September 30^th. Each year, the symposium brings together some of the very best truck accident lawyers and paralegals in the entire country. This year’s event was topped off with a keynote speech from New York Injury Attorney Benedict Morelli of Morelli Law Firm.

As many people are aware, Attorney Morelli and his law firm were chosen by comedian-actor Tracy Morgan for professional representation after he was struck by an out-of-control Wal-Mart tractor trailer. This case solidified Morelli’s prominence in the legal field, earning him attention and prestige from the ATAA. For this reason and more, the ATAA selected him for the defining position at the conference.

Attorney Morelli spoke mainly on the Tracy Morgan v. Wal-Mart accident case, as it embodied many of the crucial elements in all truck accident cases. The discussion ranged from basic instructions for truck accident specialists to more in-depth explorations of liability, proof, and compensation. The format of the entire symposium was a “rapid fire” topic setting to keep the discussion alive and moving while also covering all of the numerous questions and concerns attendees may have had.
