Her focus is appellate practice (covering all aspects of civil personal injury litigation) as well as a variety of civil cases including nursing home negligence, medical malpractice, Labor Law (construction accident), employment, and sex abuse/assault cases. Sara has spent her entire career advocating for accident victims and is a go-to resource for legal writing and research at the firm. Her work has been integral to obtaining record-breaking results for the firm’s clients, including upholding pain and suffering damages awards totaling $20 million in a traumatic brain injury case — the highest amount to be upheld for such damages for a single plaintiff in a brain injury case at that time in New York State — and recent settlements of $10.5 million and over $6 million in a medical malpractice and Labor Law case, respectively.
