Joseph M. Nejathaim focuses his practice in the areas of personal injury, nursing home negligence, labor law, and mass torts. Joseph also specializes in the handling of Surrogate’s Court matters for the firm, specifically wrongful death and infant compromise proceedings.
Prior to joining the firm, Joseph was a Senior Attorney Advisor at the United States Department of Justice, focusing on employment and immigration law.
Joseph graduated cum laude from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2019. During law school, Joseph was a Student Fellow for Judge Nicholas G. Garaufis of the Eastern District of New York, a Student Law Clerk for the New York Immigration Court at 26 Federal Plaza, a Legal Intern for Catholic Charities Immigrant & Refugee Services, and a Student Fellow for the Floersheimer Center for Constitutional Democracy. Joseph was also a Staff Editor at Cardozo’s Moot Court Honor Society.
Joseph received his undergraduate degree at the State University of New York at Geneseo, majoring in Political Science.
