Sara Strickland

Sara Strickland graduated summa cum laude from Florida State University College of Law in 2012, finishing in the top 5% of her class. In law school, Sara served as an editor of one of her law school's journals and participated in hands-on legal internships and clinics, including an internship with the Innocence Project of Florida and a clinic with her school's family law clinic. These opportunities allowed her to gain practical legal experience and develop an appreciation for helping those who often cannot help themselves. Sara also participated in a summer clerkship with the Florida Supreme Court.

At Morelli Law Firm, Sara concentrates her practice in the areas of medical malpractice, nursing home litigation, personal injury, employment discrimination, and consumer class actions. Sara also does appellate work for the firm and has helped research and compose briefs submitted to the New York Appellate Division, First Department, the New York Appellate Division, Second Department, and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals. In one such appeal in the New York Appellate Division, Second Department, the firm sustained a $1.18 million verdict. Sara also recently provided integral assistance in a Labor Law personal injury case that settled for $ 1.4 million.
